Win in Apoll-NW

We finally did it, we won Apoll NW, the HNM limbus XD.

We have enough power to finish all basic limbus now. Looking forward in Omega/Ultima fight.

Total 5 floors in Apoll NW.

Floor boss is HNM type in normal area.

3/F Boss: Great Turtle

4/F Boss: Great Fly Dragon

5/F Boss: Behemoth type (even 3 normal mobs is Behemoth too)

with small group of 7-9 people and tight time limit. We can't touch Turtle & Dragon boss.

They are too strong and need too much time.

We save our time to against Final Floor Boss.

Basic plan is Kiting.

Run away from boss AOE range when you have hate.

You have to keep DOT (demage over time) magic. (BIO, Poison) on it all the time.

Samuari Armor

Let me introduce my Samuari Armors !! I already sold armor of 6X. and forgot to take a pic before that.

With this armor and Soboro. You can solo WS at 50

it is the unique weapon that can grant you the real power of SAM/RNG. TP100 > sidewinder.
it make SAM/RNG can over demage than other DD.
Good side:More attack mean more chance to collect TP. More TP mean more WS.
Bad side: you also give many TP to monster


Left: Hagun 破軍 TP Bouns, it mean grant you the effect of TP200 with you are 100 only
beside Relic 天の村雲 & Futsuno Mitama 布都御魂 , it is final GK of SAM in most cases.

Well, I have that lv50 Great katana. I have to try SAM/RNG.

I try Side-Winder at lv67. ohhhh Demage was over 1000..... I never have this power (as a Red mage) before....

My Last Sky Tour

Link-shell did last sky run at Late March 07. I also end up my sky tour. Let me report what I got in "Sky".




Sky is nick name of Tu'Lia area. I guess it is directly translated from Japanese nick name 空島 "Sky Island". Like the name of sky, the area is floating island. It just like the scene of movie "Laputa - Castle in the Sky". You can see nice green trees, grasses, waterpools everywhere. It guard by many robots. Inside the core of island, it really have a big crystal XD. Here is the end point of "Chain of Promathia" story.

Main Target of players should Abjurations armors and Kirin armors.Within the area, there are some NMs will 100% drop trigger item to pop Guardians of Gods.And these Gaurdians will drop Abjurations & Kirin armors.There are 5 Guardians in total.


Guardian of East - Seriyu 青龍


Guardian of South - Suzaku 朱雀


Guardian of West - Byakko 白虎


Guardian of North - Genbu 玄武

Final Guardian - Kirin 麒麟 (trigger by the drops of 4 direction guardians)



At the end of my sky tour. I got 4 pieces of Abjurations armor and maps of region.

OSE

In Easter Monday, I was free to play at afternoon. I went to hunt OSE again.Ose is lottery spawn from coeurls from 1-3 hours at Labyrinth of Onzozo.

Ose's weapon skill will silence and paralyze you. More TP to Ose means more paralyse to you. It can solo by Summoner or Black mage. We had been killing the placeholders near 3 hours, finally it popped and we claimed it.

At that movement, only had 2 people at there. We took about 20 minutes to slowly cook it.

Finally Ose gave me this Bright Orange jacket.

Easter Egg

This year 2007, 2 new easter items was introduce into FFXI daily life.
Egg Helm (head armor) and Jeweled Egg (furniture)

Jewled Egg will slowly change its glowing color time by time.

Lizzy, I found You

I camped it 5 times and saw it pop about 12 times. I owned it 3 times. It finally gave me this boots.

Re-spawn time of this Lizzy is varies greatly. It may re-pop within 20 minutes. So remember bring your luck to there.

after I had leveled my ranger, Let go to camp low lv NM with THF/RNG. 1st target is Lizzy.

still have many ppl camp it for RE/EX nice boots. Althogh I have Flee and wide scan. I still lost in claim to someone without these ablilties. (; ;) my luck is suck.

Salvage

After new patch, systm intorduce a battle field for high-end player

18 ppl Salvage.

Enter the area, it will force you to un-equip and affect your status, job ability. You can kill mobs and recover the ability 1 by 1. Have Fun.

Since I don't have gil to make the awarded equipment. I quit this battle field after try it. :P

PC broken in Nov 06 then spent 1 month to solve the problem (bought a new PC XD)

and Taiwan earthquake broken undersea optical fibre cable on Dec 06, it affected whole asian data communication traffic (resumed to normal level on Feb 07).

Busy in Chinese New Year. No time to play and update this ffix blog. ^^
